The silver one is owned by a previous neighbour of mine. You're correct on his max name, real name Grant. He is a real enthusiast and never spares a penny. As his ad says I'm sure Bimmersport will attest. I think the car is a great deal at that price, especially when you consider what is out there for E30's these days. Previously he has had a E30 M3, E34 M5, E34 M540i/6 ect. Him and his father are enthusiasts, great guy too.

Haha, my car is a parts bin right now. Far from functional.

and no ABS - not so friendly for a winter beater

I think the decision for you comes down to if you want a stock(white) or nicely tuned(silver) car. When it comes down to it thats the difference between the 2 cars. Seller being a good guy should not sway you in buying one or the other, but go with your gut when it comes down to a sale.
I do like the silver one myself, but what do you like?

I like the silver one. It does not have sunroof and looks clean. It looks like as if the front seats are not matching, but I could be wrong. However I think the price should be negotiated. Not many options, not even heated seats. The picture is cut so I can not see if it has twities speakers. The car has been there for long as well... I am confident is it was a good buy, it would have been gone by now. I would still take a look at it.

Yeah I like the silver one, I'll probably go check out the white one just for fun but I'm leaning on the other one, just can't get a hold of the seller, he's probably out of town. Also hoping that some 5-spd 325's crop up sometime soon, if not, I might have to suck it up for the rest of this winter and get one for next year.
