Done it. 205 tires are the biggest you can go without spacers.

Thnx,
You're car sits nice and I like the "period correct look" with the 15" wheels. That VW set sold fast. I think black looks better with a white car. Red and silver looks right. I'm gonna go Falken RT615 205/50-15. maybe with Konig Rewinds with the spokes painted black. Keep the silver lip.

I had the RT-615s on them too, great tires.

I only had that setup on the car for about a week, I really only bought them due to curiosity (wanted to know if the 615's could clear the struts with them). They need spacers to look good.

I don't want spacers. I might go with these and paint the center black as well. 15x7 et20

What size spacers would you need to make them look good? I am kind of considering a set:

15mm would be enough. For the record, they have the exact same specs as the BBS RZ's I posted above on my car.

Another question... tried to search thru the thread but had trouble finding anything specific...

17x8 ET20 with 205/40R17 (yes I know the tires are a bit small, but meh... pretty close)

Fit OK?

Hi

First, sorry about my bad english skills.

It's time for new wheels for my E30, and i found some nice rims that i will order soon. Keskin KT1.

The size are: 8.5x17 ET 20.
with 215/40 tire.

My question is: Will this size fit perfect on a E30 Coupe? I don't understand exactly what offset (ET 20) means, but what do you think?

Will i ran into some problems?

My car is lowered, but not insane lowered

Here is the car with 17'' 215/40

Thanks

Yeah those are no problem. A member here ran those in front and the 17x10 version in the rear.

With the 215/40/17 tire the most you would have to do is a slight fender roll in the back. But depending on the tire used, you may be able to get away without it.

17x8.5 also. But again, you most likely won't need it.

No, don't do that. Get the ET20 version (bigger lips). It's seriously not a concern.
