any1 with straight pipe?

any1 have straight pipe on their E36?
wel this video is an M3..but wud a 328i sound anything close to that?/or not a chance..lol
and would it also be annoying on the highway when ur jus cruising in 1 speed?

I can see it droning on the highway.
Straight pipes are for the track, not everyday use.
Put a bypass system in so you can run stock on the street and straight on the track (if the track permits is)

my 325 sounds alot like that with straight pipe.. definatly putting a muffler on tho.. its just too damn loud...

dont do straight pipes wayy to loud, ill be running resonators and 1 muffler, sounds awsome

haha that sounds EXACTLY like my car only I have a uuc tse2 on it. It is very loud and does drone a bit on the highway but thats what having a good stereo is for

I have the UUC RSC36, and it doesn't drone at all. Plus, the exhaust note is much lower, and less raspy. It is a bit loud though, and full throttle acceleration scares nearby school girls.

IMO I think the CGT with Straight pipes sounds best...

I've got headers and straight pipes on the z3.

On an e36 you end up losing a lot of bottom end torque but you gain a bit on the top end.
