Solution: stop at stop signs.

Going to court for your dad?? Strange, considering the accused must show... you sure YOU didn't run the sign? If you were passing a bus that was collecting passengers, that would mean you were either illegally passing in an intersection, or Wilmington has two lanes for traffic in either direction. I know that it only has one lane each way. You also live near the area? So you (or your dad ) should know that there is a stop sign there, and that you should not pass the bus until it has moved on.

Pay your tickets and obey the rules of the road.

p.s. no laptops in court.

I got pulled over once for running an amber 4km from the intersection where this, supposedly, happened.

The funny thing happened today. I pull out from my driveway and drive around my area. I made a stop at the stop sign and guess what. There was a cop driving 200m in the far back I could see him. So he follows me and so on. I loose him and park my car besides a curb and get out. He comes and just drives off fast in the street juts before my car. I got out to tell him what he wants. I simpy did not and could not break any law in the area that I drove....

BabyHerc... I don't know what I said that made you doubt my story... My dad has a job he can not afford to miss time from whereas I can miss some class. If you've ever been to court you know you can file someone else as your "agent". However, does the defendant still have to be there??

Yes he probably did run the stop sign, but the fact that he doesn't remember the stop sign at all and then he mentioned a bus... I dunno it seems sketchy. And yea I suppose there is only one lane but I will check that out.

I am mailing out the disclosure request tomorrow.

P.S. Thanks Tomek

I spoke to my dad again today... Looks like I remembered wrong. In fact, the bus thing was for sure and the cop admitted it! Let's see if it shows up in the disclosure or if disclosure is sent at all. So even if it is one lane only, I am assuming an improper pass is not as bad as disobeying a stop sign. Can anyone confirm?
