might also be a slight optical illusion because you have the silver headlight inserts, and the angle that you are parked

is that OEM hood with cut-in vents ? maybe the M3 hood is a bit different than non-M

I noticed also that some aftermarket headlights dont seat-in properly

btw, that red E30 above(prev page) has a professionally stitched bottom lip
