Fire at local animal shelter kills 150 animals

I'm sure you all know teh story by now..

A shelter close to my old home caught fire last week, killing 150 pets.

Here is teh link
http://www.thestar.com/News/GTA/article/555723

http://www.cbc.ca/canada/toronto/sto...am-humane.html

They need any help they can get;

This site is holding an animal shelter contest, with the winner getting $10,000
http://www.care2.com/animalsheltercontest

Please take 40 seconds to click, and vote for the Humane Society of Durham Region - Oshawa, ON. They're currently in 36th place: and in dire need of that money.

Thanks max!

Here's the shelters page also, http://www.humanedurham.com/

anything we can do to help... I heard about this... kinda sad... I really hate hearing about helpless animals being hurt... people, whatever... but not animals... stuck in a cage and burned to death... a worse fate is hard to think of

Yeah, I heard that the cause of the fire was mice in the rafters....

That was the ironic part.... building full of cats goes up in flames and kills most of them. Mice caused the fire.
