What kind of battery for a 92 325?

Just wondering what kind of battery would work with a 1992 325i?
Canadian Tire says I need to go to the BMW dealership. I'm hoping that's not the case.
I'm also not planning on keeping the car for more than a year. Just wondering if anyone has a used battery that still works that they'd be willing to sell me.
