Looks like the 51000 might be a typo...

Sounds like missing pixels on the display leading to a false reading on the Dec.06 service date. My M had the same issue.

I went to check it out today, i forgot my camera sorry! but in my honest opinion i would pass looks like its been used very rough, it was clean inside but outside looked dirty and it is starting to get rust bubbles.

Sorry i went so late, but they had a 2003 M5 with 125,000Km for approx. $25,000

How do determine that its been used rough? Did you take it for a spin? The roads are dirty with salt so if anyone drove it it will be dirty. Where is the rust, common E39 places?

by rough i was talking about the body, personally if somebody keeps their car clean they will take care of it. There was a dent beside the trunk, the bumper, fender was all scratched up, there was a scratch on the rear quarter panel, rust bubble on the hood and also the driver side hood didnt close properly.
