Glad you weren't hurt. Good you stopped though, its nice to see some people on this board here still care about the wellbeing of others. Next time, ask your GF to wait in the car though!

Thanks guys!!! nah he wasnt young, im thinking mid 40's, he was dressed nicely too, im guessing coming back from some sort of party ( probably drunk) and had an older lady sitting in the back seat too. Yeah I should have told my girlfriend to stay in the car, but i know she wouldnt, if i went out she would come out too. The both of us still get mad thinking that, that jackass got away. And i honestly dont know how far he could have gotten with his car mangled the way it was! I hope the cops got him!

Holy shit that's crazy!!

You're right, he was probably just trashed, and split the scene knowing he'd get charged.

That's good of you to stop and help. Most people wouldn't bother, which is sad.

thats crazy .. to bad you didnt get his plate .. I would have parked behind him and put on my hazards. This way my headlights would shine on his plates.

It still a bit off that he got away with the damage he did to his car .. especially driving the opposite way on the highway.

5)always act calm and dont let the people involved affect you by their actions as people in these situations are 90% sure not to act logicaly.

In any case i always stop.
Its what i would expect from others to do if i was in an accident.
Same the guy was an idiot and good you guys are ok!
you said it! i have a triangle marker in my boot which has lights built in.....its come in handy a few times...i also used to have thick blue latex gloves....i need to restock them though...
