Anyone upgraded their E39's stock headlight to 2001+ design with white corner?

I have the 2003 525iT but I don't like the orange corner tab. I am looking to buy something from DDM like this.

http://www.ddmtuning.com/deprwihidand.html

However, other the replacing the entire headlight assembly, do I need to do any adjustments / leveling of low beam HID?

Thanks.

Because you have a 2003, it's not that simple to replace the housing. Your best bet is to replace the entire headlamp. Just did that... at least one side.

Oh and BTW, since you have OE xenons and autolevelling, most of the aftermarkets won't work...because they are designed for people with pre-2001 which have halogens.

Granted not saying you can't, just that you'll need to splice some wiring to get it to mate up. If you're ok with that, then by all means...

Would a set of used OE Hella Euro Xenons pique your interest? I have a set here in the original Hella boxes and was going to put them on the car but I'm selling her so no point in having these around.

Don't know if I'm breaking any rules here by posting this info here as I'm cluttering this ad up.

I'm looking for $700CAD. One of them has a slight scuff on the bottom of one of the corner portions that is not very noticeable at all. I handled the lights and did not see them myself until I looked a lot closer... but then again, I tend not to be overly observant. Some of the plug connectors on the back seem broken but do not affect the electrical connections but may be bothersome if you're picky about these types of things.

It comes without the D2S bulbs.
The high beam and corner bulbs are included.
The OE Hella harnesses are included so these should P2P into a factory xenon equipped 2001-2003 NADM E39. I don't think you'll need the harnesses as you already have Angel Eyes.

I also have a brand new set of the EAS angel eyes which I never bothered to install.

I was going to put this information up on an official FS thread but I don't have pictures yet. I'll snap some this weekend.

You'll need to tell them if it's the euro ones...
