Tire sizes

I am probably going to get a good response for Mystical

anyway, I have a 99 328is, stock rims.. can't remember the style for the life of me... what I am after is winter tire combinations for my stock 16" rims.

I have attached a picture (not my car) of the rims in question

If anyonw has a guide or knows this would greatly help my search

Thank you,

The type of rim should not matter too much if it is the proper offset for the e36. Look on your door jamb for tire sizes. I can't remember if they specify for 16" though. 15" specs are 205/60/15 so for 16" it is probably 215/50/16 or 205/55/16. You can use this website, and put down the 205/60/15 and then match any new tire you want as close as you can to that. Notice that changing tire width also slightly changes height so the wider you go, you have to go a bit shorter too.

For winter on those, 205/55/16.
