i have an 87 325is im dropping the car on aprex springs (60mm) drop aka 2.4 inches. i was wondering what size spacers i should get to give my car that nice wide look? the wheels are 16 x 7 with a 205/40r16.

whats the offset of the wheels?

You'd probably be best asking in the wheels and tires thread too.

It's all dependant on the tires and wheels, best thing to do. Put the springs on, let them settle, then measure the distance from the fender to the tire then get spacers those size.

7" wide with 40ET offset is very inset, so you'll be looking at some serious spacers to get an aggressive stance look, like, 30MM. That would be the same as an 8" rim with ET20, which is the common size and offset for a good aggressive look.

For poke you'd be looking at even more, like 45mm. Requirement to measure for that though.

Tire size doesn't have too much to do with needing a spacer, it's the rim width and offset.

That small tire will give you faster acceleration, but your speedometer will read high and you'll put on more kms on the odometer than you drive.

I have 16x8 et 15 sportmax's and I wasnt even poking. I would buy a different rim if you want an "aggressive" look. Otherwise your wheel bearings will hate you.

ugh sometimes people need to be told to leave the honda rims for the honda's. I think this is one of those case's.

and with that said, it has nothing to do with honda's notorious rice stereotype. but those wheels are the most classic honda front wheel drive offset wheel. et 40 16x7, thats a honda wheel alright.
