E30 window tweeters

Just purchased a set of door/window frame mounts and tweeters from a sport model to install in my 85 318i.
Can anyone recomend a speaker set that the tweeters will fit the hole and has 5 1/4's to fit in the kick panel? I prefer JBL but am not picky.
Thanks,
Darryl
ps, parts not in hand yet as I purchased them off ebay.

I should have asked myself that before I bought a "fix-er-upper" 318i.
No budget limit on audio, I own Parasound in the house.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Darryl

I'll have to pull out my tweet pods out of the basket and see if the DLS UP 1C tweets fit. Then again, what sort of sound are you gunning for............ something high end or just for cruising around in the car ?

I know most tweeters come in a pod of their own so they're pivotable. My advice, find a component set you like the sound of and look at the tweeter to see if it would fit. I had Infinity reference series 2-ways in my last car and I was happy with them, and the tweeter fit in very nicely with the tweeters original grill removed.

Good tip, so how the heck do you get the original speakers out of the window mouldings?
Appears like they are epoxied or glued in.
Thanks,
Darryl

^ Infinity Kappa Component Set. I had them and they were absolutely amazing. Not only were they incredible in terms of all sound quality/performance (they complimented each other very well, the highs from the tweeters were HIGH which complimented the mids ect. in the doors and rears) they were one of the best setups for someone like myself that wanted to keep the factory stock look. Tweeters fit perfecty in behind the stock window casing WITH the original black grills on. Same in the rear, the car looked identical to completely stock from the factory.

Hey, thanks for the input ///M-TRD3, I have been watching the 5020cs on ebay, fairly pricey with the exchange and would also like a listen but cannot find them locally, (any ideas on retailers?).
Anyway, I will most likly purchase these on your recomdations.
Thanks again.
Darryl
