is it possible to put a 1 belt setup on a m20

i recently pulled my m20 out of my 325is and i want to change the belts. is it possible to put a single belt setup like modern cars or not. im only running water pump, pwr steer and alternater.. no a/c as i pulled it outa car because it was all damged and i dont need it anyways. any help would be great thnx

Some dude on e30tech did a serpentine belt conversion on his m20 IIRC. Search there in the M20 forum.

thnx man like a 1 belt would be good or even 2 modern belts. i hate the v belts they piss me off hardcore

damm thats alot pulleys u see im onli running everything but the a/c so i can get away with 2 belts excatct style belt as his. like run one around pwr str and the other around alternater could work in thoery and lot less mess than his

I like my $4 vbelts. You can also use a shoelace in a pinch, they are great!
