Heat not as hot

Hi all. 2002 325i. I've noticed that the heat doesn't seem to be that hot. When set between 20-22 degrees celsius (68-72 F) and on auto temp, for some reason I feel cool air. However, when I set it to 27C (81F), that's when I start feeling heat.

Any thoughts?

most likely it's the thermostat...

it's gonna sound stupid but your center vent scroll wheel is set to full heat right ? I noticed it has a big impact on the heat / cold temp air pumping out dash... even in the white center zone.

yes, i scrolled that thing down to the 3 red dots.

it must be thermostat then, I had 2 thermostats fail on me in the past.

1. my 1.8T corrado, thermostat stuck closed (was overheating constantly, replaced thermostat... problem gone)

2. my tdi jetta, thermostat stuck open, I could see my temp guage showing lower temp while driving on the highway, it was never hot enough in the car, changed thermostat ... problem gone.
