Tutorial: Setting a Sig(bigger size)
Hey guys,
I get asked this question all the time. How do you get your sig that size. Well I finally decided to make a tutorial, mayb if the mods like they can create into a Sticky. Ok so here we go.
STEP 1:
Grab the picture you want to set as your signature and get it resized, and converted to code by using a image resizing tool such as photobucket, or imageshack.us. But I recommend(easier to use, and what i use) is www.tinypic.com
STEP 2:
Browse for your picture you want for your sig, then select the "Message Board" resize.
STEP 3:
Wait a bit till its uploading and resizing. When its done you should get a page like this. Then copy the entire highlighted coding.
STEP 4:
Paste that Coding/URL in the signature section on Maxbimmer. By going to User CP>Edit Signature, then paste the link in the white box as shown
FINAL STEP:
Click Save Signature below, and BOOM, your done and you have a greater size signature than you had before. Hope this tutorial helped. If you still need any help or have questions feel free to PM me. Peace guys, and post if this thread helped or not.

most people, just size their sigs in photoshop. Btw, try using 300 dpi for your sig, i am getting this hunch you are designing in 72.
Even though they say the web is 72 dpi, 150 for example makes a huge difference, because all modern computers, phones, etc can easily display it. 300, which is for press quality, works even better. You can go higher, just remember to downsample before saving, and always save for web, even at 100% quality , the compression skrinks the file size quite nicely.
I usually work in 1000 dpi in photoshop and downsample as needed from there, bicubic sharper. This current sig was made @ 150.

the beams are photoshopped in, hids and halogens don t reflect beams like that. Also, this is a stationary picture, once again, photoshop motion.
