Help?? Outer b pillar trim removal (4 door)

I need to replace the b pillar trim on the drivers door (not really the b pillar trim then I suppose, but you know what I mean.)

I attached the realoem image with the part.. its #12 in the picture.

Any ideas?

pull from the outer edge towards the mirror - clips are only on the inner side
if you take your time you can reuse the clips

try pulling from the outer edge towards you at first and then towards the mirror
it works believe me :-)
you need flat pry bar to get it going
