Post E46 advice needed

Hi all, I'm in a bit of a delima. Currently in the market of a car, and I stumbled upon a 2000 323i.

Is there anything in particular that I should look out for ?
The car has 155km on it and the owner is asking $8500.

What do you guys think ? (not exact car, but same colour)

Thanks in advance !

Check the service record, rear suspension spring (always Broken), if is auto transmission for this milage it need trans service, that can cost around $500. Good Luck!

It's a 5 speed.
Are these cars peppy at all ?

Or is this like an equivalent of a 318 E36 ?

They're peppy cars for street driving, on the highway, you may find it slow.

thats a good price, so long as it checks out and needs no immediate maintenance thats expensive it should be good. I paid more than that for mine, though I bought mine from Calgary in late March. Its pretty peppy, decent speed and pickup, fun car to drive

Have the rear subframe inspected, common and expensive failure point.
