We have 4 trucks with the 500/1650-1850 D16's, they are monsters. 600/1850-2050 is just bigger injectors and ecu reflash. FYI, the D16's feature variable vane turbo (like on the 997TT), have no wastegate, and have multi-torque, which is low torque (1650 or 1850) in low range, and high torque in high range (1850 or 2050).

Arn't these ones built up though? Or perhaps they're just beating the living shit out of them.

edit ~ started looking for huge motors and stumbled upon this...damn. Who knew to build such a large motor you've piratically just scale things up.

Big oil tankers and other ships. It's ridiculous how big things are on those ships. The driveshafts are like 3 foot in diameter of solid steel.
