Can this dent be fixed by PDR?
I found there was a deep dent on the rear fender yesterday..I really dont know how this happened, and I only parked at my work place and my home.
Some paint is gone, and the dent is deep. I wonder if this dent can be fixed since it is at the fender area, not like those on the door.
I will try touch up for the paint if the dent can be fixed.
The dent maybe deeper than what you can see on the photo because of the angle.

You should call Autodent ask for Marty www.autodent.ca

I had a similar dent on my 645 ( worst ). Call Color works and ask for Mike. It will cost you $150 - $200.

no, you can't fix that with PDR. If there was paint removed from the fender, it can't be fixed with PDR. You can either touch it up, or have it repainted.

The Dent can be fixed by PDR, however, after you have to fix the paint with wetsand process or Langka.

The reason I say it is not possible to fix it by PDR is because,
Look at the picture, the actual dent is around where the fender line is.
Because of that line, one can't pop it out. There is a limit on PDR. Not everything is fixable. If it did, we would be out of business

Well can't you take the hammer with a pcik at the end and hit it from the inside and out? to create that crease again.
Well learning from autobody... hahaha a chop job would be to grind it down and bondo it and sand the bondo into the shap of the fender.
OR take a drill and drill a hole in the thing, and pull it out, then shape it, and bondo, and paint. Lots of work but...probably worth it.

This process wouldn't be PDR though.

i think PDR will work. experienced guy could pull it out. fine point picks and lots of hour would do the work, but you wil have to fix the paint since its missing. it will not look perfect, but unless people know that you had it there, no one would be able to tell.
Marty is good he did my dent on the rear door that was right on the crease. He did a really good job. Another really good guy is Luis. i can get you his number.

You guys dont really understand the concept of PDR.
There are always limits as to how far these techniques go.
This is like saying 3 stage paint correction by prodetailer will be able to fix the rust
surface.
