1997 540I - Whining Problem

I got a 97 540I,

had a check engine and misfire.. replaced cam shaft sensor, fixed one cylinder misfire,
then cleaned the spark plug area (oil there) fixed the other misfire, when i put everything back together, about 15 minute of driving and now i am getting a really loud WHINING sound,

it happens about 5 seconds after starting, and once car is turned off it slowly goes away (sounds like a washing machine stopping)
any idea what this can be>?

sounds like its coming from the rear of the motor

Thanks

UPDATE ON THE WHINING NOISE... its some sort of vaccum leak..

the noise starts roughly 3-4 seconds after car is on.. stops after 2-3..
the noise is just WHINING... from rear of motor

when the dipstick is pulled out, the noise stops (pressure relieved), if you put your finger on the dipstick hole, it sucks it right in...

any ideas?!

it might be that vacuum valve on the back of the intake.
when your car is parked overnight & you start it first thing when it's cold does it still make that noise right away, or when the engine warms up a little it starts whining?

Check the Crankcase Vent Valve on the back of the intake manifold.

It's under the intake manfold on the 540.

Also look under the throttle body, connection where CCV connects to the metal pipe. Use Carb cleaner to spray at any possible point and vacuum hose connection, example vacumn/power brake hose etc.
