After 1600kms in my E66
Just got home from driving over 1600kms from Toronto to Chicago and back.
Had a basketball tournament so drove around plenty out there as well.
Just want to say the E66 drove great even with the OEM 21's, I was tempted to slap on my 18s back on for the trip for more comfort but passed.
I hit some crazy potholes out in Michigan and I saw a Audi A8 with a cracked rim at the side of the rode that scared me coming back.
I got roughly 10.7 L/100kms all highway, car was running great.
Speeds between 130-150km/h all the way, made it all the way with about 70 kms left on my fuel computer. Everyone in the car was pleased with how well the car drove and not used much fuel.
I stopped for gas on the way home and guess what I saw

I filled up 50/50 of that 100 Octane and then 91 Octane because I didnt know if I could put in all 100 Octane.
Car is sitting in the garage and needs a nice clean as you can see below.

Bugs all over the front end, had to stop and clean the windshield a few times from how bad it got.
Very happy with the car, its crazy now that I have 120,000 kms on the car

Thats some very impressive gas mileage you got. Didn't think the big boy 7's were capable of that considering the weight of the car and the speeds you were going.

Nice! I still haven't had the pleasure of driving an e65/66, but I can imagine a road trip in one would be amazing. I've done two trips to Florida (all the way to the keys) in my e38 and I couldn't ask for more comfort. Even with the route including "spirited" passes on US129, and a lot of city driving while in Florida, I still managed to average just under 10L/100km ... not an economy car, but not bad.
