M3 head rest

Hey does an M3 head rest fit on a regular E46?

I was talking about the m badge. Everything else is socially acceptable, I have an M3 steering wheel . And I said thats just how it is on the internet, I personally don't care what you do.

And thanks for the comments guys!

There is a huge difference between putting actual M3 parts on your car and putting an M3 badge. M3 parts like steering wheel, shift knob, rims… Come with a little ///M on them. If you go out and buy yourself a simple M3 sticker and put it on your trunk, it doesn’t make your trunk an M3 trunk now does it?

Anyways man just relax, no matter what you do or say nobody is going to automatically accept your m badge. If you like it, then rock it proud...who cares about every else's opinion.

ok, but it doesnt state M3, geese. ///M stands for Motorsport so y can i use it? if i put ///M3 i understand, critisize all you want. But just for an ///M that is found in many places in my car from the dealer i cant stick on a badge?

///M, M3 whatever, your trunk did not come with it from the dealer like your interior ///M parts didÖ

If you like it great! Keep it. All Iím trying to say is that the headrests that Sneaky is talking about probably came with the M badge on them from the dealer.

If you go on the BMW website and click under M, you wont see a Zhp. I dont think the zhp was even designed by the motor sports division.

The M from BMW motorsports is an important part of the history of this company. I bought the M Steering wheel and would buy an M head rest because Id like to experience a little piece of that history when I drive my car. Having an M steeringwheel or shift knob DOES not making it an m car, it just makes some of my parts a little cooler.

Putting an M badge on the back of your car kind of dishonest because even though you have those zhp goodies, your car isn't an m, its a 3 series. Im not telling you what to do, Im just explaining why ppl tease you every time you post pics of the m badge. I still think ur a nice guy!

M is not = Motorsport. M= More Money you have to spend. All parts on BMW (M) are more expensive.

///M or M3 is the same thing...

the people above are right... puting badging on a car that isn't it, is stupid.

the way i look at it, putting a turbo badge on a non turbo car... sure the car may come turbo, but yours is clearly not. kinda same thing with the ///M it may have the M package and all but it clearly isn't an M3
