1994 530i Battery removal HELP pleaaaase

Hey i stored my e34 for winter n now the battery's dead i wanna take it out to charge it on a big charger they have at my schoool n i know the battery is under the seat but i when i take off te seat theres like a carpet thing which i dont how to remove so if anyone has done this before maybe u could help me out a bit thankss a lot

There should be nothing on top of it.. its on the passenger side under the rear seat.. once you take the seat off, it should be right there.. you then just unbolt it and take it out..

Yeah, I've gone under my rear seat, and don't remember seeing any sort of "carpet thingy".... post pics maybe? Or pull out a screwdriver and get creative?
