E-Test question for FI
Hey guys, I want to put some upgrades on my m50, but the E-test issue is a big PITA.. So for those of you who has FI bmws, how did you passs e-test? and if I upgrade injectors, software, cai, muffler, will it still pass? running 91 gas .. Thanks

1. You shouldn't run 91 on a FI car.
2. If tuning is done right, you still have your cats, you should pass it.
I passed it no problem with a shitty software

unfortunatly alot of us dont have an option, 94 is only @ sunoco around here. I'm gonna go meth because of this.
But to the OP, like was said before, keep your CATS and you shouldn't have any trouble if you have a decent tune.

lol, sorry I just woke up. For some reason I thought 91 was bronze
Anyways, it depends for what gas your car was tuned for. Most US tuners do it for 93

Then 93 it is..I don't think I can find 93 in Shell gas stations. The mods are on their way and I'm currently running stock m50, always use the top level gas in Shell. I'm gona go to see it's a 93 or not...

Correct... use whatever you car was tuned for...
If it was tuned for 93, use 94.... simple as that...
Also there are many tuners that offer a 91 octane tuning too...
