:::U of T campus Police alert:::
If you don't live downtown or don't even know where U of T is then you don't need to read this thread. This thread is for those who pass thru u of t campus often.
Whenever you are coming to U of T campus thru College always watch out.
I saw quite a few people get caught by speeding in the afternoon.
After 1am, Police is waiting on St.George facing towards College Street.
Also watch out when you are going to take St.George st or Harbord St.
Usually speed limit on campus is 30km/h - 40km/h.
I saw lots of people get caught by going 45km/h include 2 of my friends.
These days police officers are tend to stay near u of t campus cuz lots of cars going over 50km/h

LOL, I remember walking pretty recklessly throughout St. George Campus when I was at U of T. Nowadays when I drive through, I drive pretty damn carefully because you never know when some food-deprived, hung-over at Robarts, just-pulled-an-all-nighter student comes jaywalking out in front of your car!

Hahaha!
I've never done the sleep in the library thing either. Hell, I haven't been into the library at school since 1st year (I'm graduating this year).

In what though? There are a lot of majors at U of T that don't require much library time.

That's coz everyone who goes to u of t is smart enough already, they don't need anymore book learnings. The rest of us know what all nighters at the library is like though

Some non-important degree.
I seriously didn't need the library time, but I do understand there are subject areas that do.

I'm in political science/history, if ANYONE should live at the library it should be me. I just choose not to. If you're willing to settle for a C average in university, you dont have to work very hard. And, i'm on full scholarship, so i dont feel as if i'm losing anything by going. I dont really see myself using my degree professionally, so my grades pretty much have to be good enough to get into more schooling. They will be.
Just do all your essays (doing one now ) and tests, and you'll be fine.

Just a heads up for the U of T crowd and anyone else using Bay. Watch out for the right turn onto Bloor when going north on Bay, which is illegal during the weekday and there are always police a couple meters after the intersection waiting to pull people over. They're usually there before noon or 1 pm. I see a lot of cars getting pulled over immediately after that stupid no-right turn thing.
