My company never asked me for an appraisal. Photo's of all four sides of the car and that was it...didn't need an emissions test either. cooperators

I have state farm, have a couple cars with them but they never asked for an appraisal of my 87 325is last year nor my 87 325ic this year when i registered it with them. I needed an appraisal for the mto for the 325is but that's another story. I've dealt with a couple different insurance companies when I was shopping around and in my experience state farm has been the best and is the cheapest (next to belair, which I won't go with) I've found.

you need an appraisal at the mto if the car is older than 20 years and they don't have a stated value for it.
