sorry to jack the htread but

is it REALLY necessary for me to change the shocks if i lower my car? just for daily driving.
with the ocasional autox...like not dedicated autoxing

I would also say yes because the stock shocks arent made to be used with shorter springs, wont last very long. Like kid89 said at least get KYB or Sachs/Boge.

they suck but are great when you're on a budget..and won't last too long with good lowering spring.

The only thing i can see them working good with is the H&R OE sports, which BARELY drop the car.
