When can I put my summers?

Hi,

Is it too soon to put on summer tires? I just bought used style 68 wheels with Goodyear F1's and can't wait to try them on. I am planning a very long trip on the 401 this coming weekend and temperature might be 3 to 10 degrees...

Tx,

I'll probably do mine near the end of April. I don't trust the weather this year

It's far too cold for summer tires still.

I wouldn't run any Summer performance tires under 8 degrees. They gotta be warm to get good grip.

Below ~3 degrees C summer tires stick like hockey pucks.

Thanks for your input!

I have to drive for 6 hours on the 401 on Friday... Temperature might be around 6-8 degr... Would be curious to see specs. by manufacturers giving the lowest temp. for high performance summers but I have not found.
