Hello There!
Hi Everyone, im new here I just wanted to say Hello!
I have a champagne gold 4 door E30, and this is my first time in this scene!
I have searched on HID's and I have a question to ask!
To put HID's in an E30 is it as simple as buying the bulbs and putting them in? (ie. like in a honda),
or do I have to change the headlight itself, then get bulbs!?
Any help would be appreciated!
thanks everyone!

You can swap just the bulbs, but if you want it done right, you should have projectors. What year is your car? Some E30's came with them, some came without.

Only the '88-'89 e30s in the US market came with Ellipsoid headlights (which is the headlight type you will need). The rest '84-'87, '90-'91 came with Sealed Beams which are useless(which will have to be converted to Ellips if you want HIDs). If you do have Eliips, you will need a 9006type HID/Xenon kit for it. And yes its a plug and play affair. PM 'Proprone' on this forum for your HID needs.

just please don't blind me with poor HID's. Glare is a bitch. Proper optics help everyone see better.

Huh? I guess you can't read well? It clearly says in my post what bulb it takes.
