Thumbs up Ardika Joins the 800rwhp Club! - 815rwhp on 91 Octane + methanol!

I'd like to welcome Ardika to the 800rwhp club. He has the HPF stage 3 turbo system which includes a full motor build. Today his car made 815rwhp (798rwhp corrected) on 91 octane fuel + methanol. Peak torque was 572ftlbs. Max boost was 23psi on that pull. Shortly we will be running race fuel and will be turning the boost up!

Congrats Ardika... We'll have race fuel results for you very shortly.

Take care,
Chris.

Here's the dyno graph... (The reason the graph does not show rpm is because the rpm pickup was lost on part of the pull.)

holy crap.... that's a lot of power... very nice!

gotta love the that M3 motor... Question to the HPF guys... I'm guessing the head is still stock? like no porting, or cams or any other work to it? I know they flow very well from the factory... just I'm just wondering.

Very impressive numbers! I'd expect 1000whp on race + meth shouldn't be too much of a problem if u'r hitting 800rwhp on pump & meth.

The heads are stock. I believe the cams are as well. They are leaving the stage 3 at 800-850 rwhp with race and meth. It will give them a chance to build stage 4!!

Congrats Chris. Can't wait to see you guy's at Bimmerfest and get a ride in a stage 3 car.

Oh wow...

I want to see them down the 1/4 mile track! I'd assume that; with that much power they should be in the 9's easly!

What kind of methanol injection system are you guys using? Snow Performance?

9's in an M3 will be nearly impossible. Can't put the power down because you can't fit big slick because of the rear brakes. A stage 1 car managed a 11.4 at 134mph and 2 second 60'. Good for a 10 pass with slicks.
HPF has there own Meth kit that they put together.

134 mph is good for a low low low 10 run, given that they got traction.

How small of a wheel can you fit on the rear?

You can buy Hoosier DOT Drag radials slicks that are for 17" wheels. THese just actually came out last month.

P275/40R17
P315/35R17
P335/35R17

EDIT :

You can actually buy MT ET Street Radials's that are upto 18" s they actually have plenty of sizes! No match for the Hoosier DOT Drag tires, but this is still better traction then other street tires.

Certain 17's will fit for sure, a custom 16" steelie may even clear the calipers. The rotors are 328mm/12.9" diameter...

I think the quest for 9s in an e46 m3 will be littered with broken halfsafts, driveshafts, diffs, torn subframes, etc.etc. like they have been with the e36 guys. Its a struggle to hook and then when they finally get it to the drivetrain just contnuously breaks to peices.

Those are siiick pump gas #s man, I can't even imagine cruising around with that on tap during my day to day. I'd guess at least one small child would be splattered on my windshield per week, maybe more.
