How much can this e30 sell for?

My friend is trying to sell his car and i honestly dont know what his car can go for, i dont want to tell him the sad truth that his car may be worth a little less than he expects.

its a 1990 325i and the goods
-grey leather interior i give it an 8/10
- motor and trany run great 340xxxkm
- no apparent holes exept in one wheel well
- brand new oem cat bak muffler
- 85% winter tires
- new alt belt

the bad.
- lots of surface rust
- the car has recently been in an accident and the front cross brace was bent in but we pulled it back out and hood lines up fine.
-valence is in correct position but a little bent up (cant notice)
-left side of hood is curled because of accident
-sunroof needs new motor
- central locking works sometimes
- underdash panel missing
- loose shifter joints

i know its hard to say, but wat do think this could go for? im saying 600.... parting it out is out of the question because he has no where to take it apart.

Because it a 4 door,I think $200-$500.People only look for clean e30 or ones for parts.Parting it out would bring more money.

ok, around 200 is lowballing like i have never seen...this car runs perfectly and the brand new oem muffle alone is 250..... he can take off plasticbumpers and easily get 150 for front and rear. this car passed saftey and emissions no problem.....it must be worth like 600-700? no?

IMO, any car cert. and etest is worth at least $1000. Maybe not here on max, but if you cert and etest a car, *then* advert it on trader, cover up any really ugly rust and clean it, you'll get $1000+.

That could be the Ottawa scene too.. if you're in TO, it might be different.

my e30 i just bought looks like someone took a sledge hammer to the side of it and jukked a big hole in it. ruse al over the fenders.

It is really hard to pin point, as you can see in this thread alone, different people are willing to pay different prices. I wouldn't, pay more than like 3-500$ for the car, but if you really clean it up, some kid who doesn't know better will come grab it off your hands for a bit more.

I payed $900 for my e30 and it was pretty mint only 1 rusted spot and it had a blown tranny

$1000 no less, period. All e30 have potential even the wrecked one's any running driving car is worth 1000-1500 no less for a running driving legal car.

alright, im selling it for 1500 obo. i fiixed all the shit (hood, little rusted spots etc..) it looks pretty nice now.
