Clutch problem?
I've been noticing this for quite a while, but when I disengage the clutch... everything is ok, but when im at idle and the clutch is engaged and im in neutral, there is a rattling noise coming from underneath the car.... What could this possibly be?

My first guess would be a lose muffler and that is causing the rattling noise. Unless someone gets under the car (hopefully not when you are driving) to check it out....

My uncle (car mechanic) said that it could be the sign of a bad transmission bearing. My car does the same, when the clutch is out, it rattles, but when pressed in, it goes away. It would make sense that it is the bearing, the clutch disengages the transmission from the engine.
Now if your clutch is out, and it doesnt rattle, but when it is in, and rattles, then it is your throw-out bearing.
