Custom spray can paint
Ok, I need to do some touch ups on my car but I don't have a paint gun or compressor. They're small spots and should be easy.
Does anyone know anywhere in GTA or Toronto that they can mix the colour of my car (SMARAGDGRUEN METALLIC) and put it in a can. I know places do it, just not around here.
Thanks
Sam

Have you performed any kind of repair like this before? Have you wetsanded before? Do you own a rotary buffer or PC with 4" pads? What colour paint are you working with? What is your level of expertise?
If you go into this without enough experience, you may be setting yourself up for failure. It may be helpful to provide pictures.

I have wet sanded, actually I've painted a hood with a spray can and buffed it to a nice shine. It's all about prep.
And if I can't do it, my buddy who worked at a body shop could. lol
The only problem I might have is finding the colour code for my car, its a rare colour. I've seen one car the same colour as mine. Will carquest know the colour code?

Place closer to you is Cawthra Automotive, in Mississauga, just north of Lakeshore. They mix paint, about $20/can...been dealing with them for the last 10 years...

Cawthra Automotive...Very very good!!! Takes like 5 - 10 mins while you wait for them to get your paint color. I'm not really close to them but its worth the drive. Just make sure you have your paint code (Like in my sig):

That won't be terribly easy to match. I hope it turns out OK.

Yea, I hope so too. Apparently Napa in Georgetown does it. I might try there.

I use (or used, I suppose) the NAPA location in Newmarket. They have a great setup there. I believe Pickering NAPA also mixes paint.
