Thinking of selling my car. 1997 328I Let me know what you think
Hey guys
I m thinking of selling my car. Its a 1997 328I, 5sp, 240kms on it. Silver on black leather interior. Car needs some mechanical work and little things here and there. Lots of m3 upgrades though.
-m3 mirrors oem
-m3 moldings and door sills
-m3 bumpers
-m3 sideskirts
-m3 canadian cluster
-the whole interior is from m3 also, i swapped it last year(had the white one before)
I have all the original oem 328 pieces. My friend wants the car stock.
Is it worth selling it as is for 5000 and parting out all my upgrades?????
Pics coming up...

Really depends on the condition. Theres a member selling a full set of Vaders with M rears for $700. Good condition vaders usually fetch for 700-1000.
How much you lookin to get for the M3 cluster/speedo and whats the mileage on it and how much for the rear M bumper. Please lemme know.
Thanks

So it's a 4 door? How'd you get the vaders in there?
I will take the M mouldings and door sills (what color?)
I'm assuming all exterior M pieces are painted silver?

Sorry that was my mistake. Its a 2 door. IS.
The car is not sold yet so I m not gonna part out anything, but probably towards the end of next week all the parts will be available for sale.
Also forgot to mention, M3 three spoke steering wheel as well.

If you need any parts to swap back to stock lemme know. I'd really like to take that Cluster off you. As for the interior, are the rear's M's as well?

How much would you be looking for for the M3 front bumper? Do you still have your stock bumper? If not we can arrange a trade because our cars are the same colour.

Not that much...To make $5K in parts, when you factor in the time/effort/space...Its much better to sell as one piece...

+1
I was considering parting out my car car before I sold it, but it wasn't worth the effort.
Takes a lot of time.

I think he meant part out the mods, go back to stock, then sell.

Gotcha, thanks.
Then if he has the room to store all the parts why not.
Those should move pretty fast.

Tx for all the responses. That's what I meant, part out the mods not the car.
