What transmission oil?

Hey, i was just wondering what kind of oil u guys use for ur transmission. I put some ATF oil in.Now when its really cold and i switch quickly, theres a little grind. This never happened befor i changed it, but befor i changed it there was BARELY any oil in the tranny.

ATF dude. Pop in some gear oil to help out the synchos, but dont expect it to shift in the winter/cold weather. I had to change mine back to ATF also so I could shift when it got colder. Once May comes, back to gear oil we go...

alright well i do have atf oilk in, but shouldnt i still be concerned if my gears are grining if i dont be carful when i switch, are the synchoos fking up from the oil?

^^ Tom, I wasted 40$ on some fancy dancy Motul synthetic oil back in the summer... it was a bitch to shift when it got cold... I believe it was 75w90 also... ATF + regular changes FTW

yup, i had the 75w90 in 2 days ago... sounded like this...vrrrooomm shift grind vrooooom shiift grind etc

im using Redline MTL, shifts fine even when cold.......minus the z4 notchyness.
