Yea i was like wtf when Zimmie suggested it also.
But after 5-6 failed attempts at jump starting an e39. It would crank but not enough to start. We let it sit 5-10mins a few times to let it charge while the other car was running (my e30).
After not getting the e39 to start, zimmie' pulled his e30 up, we double jumped it and the e39 started on the first crank.
At first i was skeptic about even trying it......so i'd understand the nay sayers / un-believers.
Comparing a diesel truck is almost a completely stupid comparison, cus it's a completely different vechicle.
