i was looking at an 87' 325..i just wanna know if it has the m20b25 motor or the m20b27

Probably the m20b27 but check the Tach to be sure.
5400 redline is the b27

Stock 325 had the 2.7. It's not all bad though, I get 28+mpg out of mine!

5400rpm redline is the b25. 4500rpm redline is the b27

ya it was the b27...the car looked pretty clean but it had electrical problems...no gauges worked..the guy said it's a fuse that keeps blowing when it's cold or somethin...anybody know what the exact problem could be..i thnk it must be a short somewhere in the wiring
