New headlights - what are these connectors?
Just bought a set of used Depos w/ the E46 projector retrofit done to them. These also seem to have the Euro adapter that I've been wanting forever!
However, I have a couple questions about the wires.
In the first pic, what's the blue wire for? My guess is for angel eyes?
In the second pic, what are the brown and yellow wires in the low beam housing for? Do I need to use these at all once I stick the D2S HID bulb in there? My guess is that these power the halogen low-beams if one were to use such a setp, so it doesn't apply for my situation. Correct me if I am wrong!
I 'd also appreciate it if someone would be kind enough to post a pic of the back of their low beam housing with HIDs so i can see what wires (if any) are connected to the housing itself.

Hey! any chance that you picked these up on Ebay last week? I saw a very similar set-up that I was going to bid on; but the price started getting way too high for me.

Yeah that's the one  It was an amazing deal despite the minor flaws. Honestly, the euro connector adapter made it TOTALLY worthwhile - I'm more excited about finally having this piece than the E46 projectors themselves, LOL!

What's the advantage with the e46 projectors in there? What headlights did you have before?
As for your questions, I think you're right.

Much sharper cutoff, better and wider spread than Depos or ZKWs - not there's anything wrong with Depo or ZKW HID setups - I just wanted an even brighter, more intense and wider light output.

I think your yellow is for the bulb and the brown could be your ground?? I know on my depo's the yellow end connector hooks up with my H1 bulbs...

those are H1 connectors, brown is negative, yellow is positive.
is that all the parts it came with? Its missing a circular locking ring that will go over the d2s bulb once you put it in the housing.

IIRC, that locking ring can be bought separately, no?

If that's what you're referring to, then it shouldn't it come with the D2S HID kit
