I have a very similar engine setup, with a few minor differences, and its turbocharged. I put down 330whp and 325wtq.

BTW. you could have painted the parts first and take pictures after it was assembled...

If you are planning on going turbo, you should get the coolant channels welded. wouldn't cost much now but it will save you a lot of hassle later.

dude what kinda budget are you on look at all the money u have already spent on this car what an extra 150 bucks for a little bit better performence but anyways its ur project

what pistons r u using r they the e botton stok pistions or custom

i will inquire about balanceing, but assumed it was way more than 150$ so i didnt even look into it.. there brand new 325E pistons and rings from mahley

i paid 500 for a machin shop to do my block they machined it 1 mill,balencing all pistons,and lighting the crank and flywheel,im also in the automotive industry so it might cost u a little bit more i dunno

thanks guys, i stopped by the machine shop on my way home, the main guy wasnt there(owner i delt with before with the flywheel, and the price giver), a worker said the v8 crank they had setup with flywheel was costing 240.00 and we kept talking and i told him how ours have 1 rod per journal and he said it would be much cheaper since its less labor intensive since they dont have to add counter weights on it etc.

so i assume around 175ish, the guy will be back monday, so i came home ripped it all apart, got the crank, seperated the rods from the pistons, and harmonic and gear, and i got it back there, awaiting for a call now monday but 99.9% sure i will get it done..

3rd set of rod bolts i buy now for this build and my motor hasnt turned over yet, this is getting expensive at 8$ each for freakin bolts lol.. glad i got the title to the benz today in the mail finally, i think i'm gona sell her.. someone wana buy her?
