yeah, it really depends on what you want. If you just want a beginners camera, and don't really think you'll take pictures that much, go with the lower lines. If you really want to start picking up photography, go with a Nikon D80 or Canon XTi.

Hey gamite, do you think the D40 is a good starter camera? One thing i'm reluctant about is the fact that it's only compatible with AF-S lenses which cost alot. Either way i'm gonna probably go with the D80 and write it off as a business expense for real estate lol.

beautiful work very impressed wow ... i dont have SLR but i have canon A510 digital camera is it possible to shoot like that on these camera's if so then what mode should be i selecting it thnx

Basically the trick to this shot is the rig. Most camera's can do extended exposures, which is enough to take the shot, but you need to mount the camera on a sturdy surface attached to the car.

The exposure was I think 15-20 seconds? I can't remember.
