Some Pics From Lamborghini Toronto

Went to visit a friend of mine at LoT and thought I'd snap some pics while I was there. The lighting was pretty harsh for good photos, so most of them came out underexposed/overexposed. Here are the best of them:

Enjoy!

Comments/criticisms welcome. I really don't like the stock lens - it's not as sharp as I would like, or am I doing something wrong?

Equipment: Canon RebelXT w/ stock 18-55mm kit lens.

Pretty nice shots uve got there Anuk! Moving from Olympus to Canon you can see the difference in sharpness dude! Plus, u were shooting at high ISO, that affects the sharpness also.

Oh yeah, I also noticed the better quality from the Olympus to the Canon. It's definitely noticeable! Now to invest a good lens soon.

Yea, the Canon really rules shooting in lowlight environments for sure! Yea, invest in some L lenses ull be amazed on the better colors you'll be getting and not only that ull see other improvements as well. Get the 17-40 4L or 24-70 2.8L to start with.

I have also heard Tamron makes some very good lenses for Canons. What's a comparable lens to the 17-40 F4L or the 24-70 2.8L from Tamron?

stay away from the sigma/tamron lenses. They are plastic construction and don't compare to the canon L series.

You get what you pay for.

The 10-22 ef-s is a great lens for your camera with the 1.6x multiplier. Also, the 24-105 f/4 L is also a very nice and practical lens.

Personally I shot only with primes (14f2.8L, 20f2.8, 35f1.4L, 50f1.2L, 85f1.2L, 135f2L) on my 1D Mk2. Much sharper then any zoom and much faster too, great for indoor and low light conditions.
