Joe, someone on max has done this before. Run some 14 guage wire from the fuse box under the hood(the fuses for your lights obviously) and then run it, into the car via the firewall to the center console to a switch.. I'm going to do this mod with a dimmer switch...Then I can disco it up going down the road
Al: I was just giving you a heads up, I haven't seen your used Rubber since last year

Boots, have you fixed yours?

Not yet, but I know of a shop (referred by another member) that has done it multiple times. IIRC, for e36 the price was around 140.
Do you come down to toronto often?

Boots, funny enough, I was just in TO on the weekend but I had the family mobile, aka the van. Though I don't think I'll be going up anytime in the near future.
Tony, I'm going to try that. Come to think of it, I had to do something like that to my old car for the fog lights. When you do it, don't forget to wire up a light to point at the disco ball hanging off your rearview.

HIDs aren't as important to me as a set of glass headlights. The plastic on the DOT spec E36 headlights are all hazy and allow little light out, which I think is dangerous.

One of the first things I did was take the buffer to the headlights with some swirl remover. Cheap yet effective though not even remotely as awesome as your current setup.

I'm just going to unplug my headlights and go for the O.P.P. cruiser spotlight mod.
