im planning on getting some new rims, they are 17 X 8.5, they ET is 30, and i just wanna know if anyone is running a 8.5 wide wheel on an e30 , and will it touch the front struts or will i need spacers?
Those will touch the front struts without spacers. They're also in a crappy offset range, as you will need bigger than 5mm spacers and anything bigger than that but less than 15mm is most likely not hubcentric (despite what H&R claims), and you will most likely get vibrations.
You could just run 15mm spacers and stretched tires.
