i posted this on bimmerforums already but if u want to get rid of the split, u can use fiberglass resin or bondo to cover up the hole b4 u paint everything

both are very easy to do and costl ike 10 bucks

thats more or less what i plan on doing. the unfortunate side of filling the split will be i will have to sand and smooth the whole thing, due to its rough rippled texture.

Ill figure it out and make it look better.

you could paint it with texture paint

i painted my lip with rubberized black paint, it has a texture and looks cool

thats not a bad idea. would save me a hell of allot of time and effort to finish it
