so you have an idle problem all the time because your throttle cable kinked or has come out of the plastic bracket on the butterfly? and it over heats because your water pump is a piece of crap, or your fan clutch is shot, or your thermostat isn't opening up very much? Something like that?

does this thing really idle at 5000 rpm??
Might want to look into that, or it won't be "Powered by BMW" for long.
