its pretty stupid because it would probably be better to stop chasing.. then the kid would slow down and go home or something..

i never claimed to be an expert, but good point. fox and others are pretty bad as well.
Boots R made a great observation- the show edited in a slightly altered repetition of when the m3 made a u-turn claiming that it broke down in its attempt to portray the message that the cops will always catch you, don't break the law or you go to jail, good always prevails over evil, blah blah blah.
