Yes, it can. The difference though is that E36 M3 coupe and sedan has identical drive train, suspension geometry, etc.

Even though I thought m3 GTR was 2 door.

Anyone ever watching Touring Car racing !?!?!? Four Doors.

Anyways, who cares. Both can be awesome............ but it's easier to hit it in the back seat of a four door............. you can take your good friends in a 4 door............. carry more junk in a four door........... hawt chicks mistake you for a responsible caring family type in a four door and swoon that shiate................ four doors are quicker to flip................. cops don't hound you as much in a four door....................... list goes on and on and on.

exactly! i can't believe this worthless argument is going on for a couple days now. who cares what you guys think about the M3 four door. BMW will produce it and it will sell very well. Deal with it!
