Cabrio LED taillight help

Hey guys,
Ok I'm sure that this was mentioned somewhere before, but I tried searching and any relevant threads that I found had some info on doing a reflash or installing resistors which I know nothing about.
So here’s the scoop, I bought some LED taillight from TISCHER BMW. I installed them the other day and noticed that as soon as I installed them, my taillight warning lamp came on. Sure enough I stared at them for a few min with the car running and noticed that they flicker a bit, even the turn signals flicker.

Any one experienced this before? How could I fix this. I called BMW of Mississauga and the service guy told me that it was not possible to install led taillight on a cabrio!?!? And of course he never heard of a “reflash”. I think he was off his meds or something.

Any help would be much appreciated!
