Door lock problems

Well I bought a 88 325is and none of the door locks work, and the passenger one is gone (the guy told me someone tried to break into the car by prying the lock out) so currently Ive just been pressing a button from the lock to lock the doors, and sticking my finger in the hole where the lock used to be to unlock the doors. Anyways I was just wondering if anyone knew how much it would cost to get either the driver side lock or the trunk lock replace and working again (i decide just to get a keyless entry and just have one lock work incase the battery dies)

ya, i've rebuilt tumblers on one of my cars. it's simple, and you could do it while watching tv. someone should... have a writeup somewhere. but if you attempt this, don't loose the pieces or springs, use caliper lube or something else that works, and depending on the age and usage try to mix and match based on the original configuration of the 'clips' that slid in the tumbler. circlips hold everything together after you remove the mechanisms from the doors. find your best key and get copies. without pics all this instruction could be useless. have you ever removed your door interior panels? trunk is easy
